CENTRE NOTICES
JANE TAYLOR THE CENTRE’S COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER RETIRES
Jane Taylor, the Community Development Officer of the Aldinga Community Centre for the last 15 years has retired. Jane has made an outstanding contribution to the local community through her work with the Community Centre. She has steered the centre’s management through so many successful projects and grant applications that it is impossible to list them all. Jane has encouraged many members of the community and volunteers to be involved in the Centre. Earlier this year the Board recognised Jane’s contributions by naming the “Jane Taylor Courtyard” in her honour. Many people will recall that Jane was a teacher and an elected member of ONKA Council. Jane is planning on travelling around Australia and working on her Scrabble skills so she can improve her ranking in the national Scrabble championships. We wish Jane well in her future plans and retirement and
will miss her tremendous input into this Centre.
