Community Garden

ACG is a sharing-caring community garden run by local volunteers. We aim to reflect good community organic gardening methods. We share the work, skills, and knowledge in making a garden grow and get a great sense of achievement in doing this.
Phone Sue on 85 57 8090 for information about the times or come along to the to see the garden and become involved and meet other members. Grow it- Eat it
We are part of Aldinga Community Centre. The Garden moved to its present site on old tennis courts, adjacent to Aldinga Community Centre, in 2001.
Many vegetables, fruit and herbs are grown in raised beds using organic methods and we tend a number of fruit and nut trees. We grow food to share amongst garden members, Aldinga community members and sponsors. Members also attend workshops, open days and visit other gardens to hear and see what others do.
The best way to get to know the Garden is to experience it first-hand. Come along on Wednesdays and/or Sundays after 9.30am and meet us. We offer free membership, a chat and a cuppa and will buddy you up with a member who knows the garden well.
Phone Sue on 8557 8090 Mob: 0402824833 or email at hurray01@bigpond.com for more information about joining us and how the garden works. If Sue does not get back to you, try Angela on 85566324 Mob: 0408 848430. The only thing you need to bring to the garden is yourself, a sunhat, gardening gloves (if you have a pair) and please wear closed in shoes.
